Honey Policies

At Honey Artistry, we strive to create a welcoming, creative, and respectful environment where every student can thrive. The following policies help ensure a positive experience for all families and allow classes to run smoothly.

attendance:

Regular attendance is important, as each class builds upon previous skills and projects. We encourage students to attend every class whenever possible to get the most out of their creative experience.

If your child will be absent, please notify us as soon as possible.

absences & make ups:

Because our classes are carefully planned and materials are prepared specifically for each session, we do not offer make-up classes or refunds for missed classes.

In select situations, and when appropriate for the project, a student may be invited to arrive up to 15 minutes before their next class to receive a brief overview or catch up on missed instruction. This option is offered at the instructor's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.

Thank you for understanding that this policy helps preserve the flow of class and allows us to give our full attention to the students who are present.

late arrivals:

Students arriving late are always welcome to join class. Our teachers will help them get settled as quickly as possible, though it may not be possible to repeat all missed instruction.

To minimize disruptions and ensure students have enough time to complete their work, we encourage families to arrive a few minutes before class begins.

student pick-up:

To ensure a smooth transition between classes and to respect the schedules of our instructors, students should be picked up promptly at the scheduled end of class.

A complimentary 10-minute grace period is provided for unexpected delays. After the grace period, a late pick-up fee of $5 per minute will be charged until the student is picked up.

Because Honey Artistry classes are scheduled back-to-back, our instructors must prepare for incoming students and are unable to provide childcare or supervision beyond the grace period.

If late pick-ups become a recurring issue, Honey Artistry reserves the right to reevaluate a family’s enrollment in future sessions.

Thank you for helping us keep our classes running smoothly and safely for everyone.

late enrollment:

If space is available, students may join a session after it has begun.

Tuition will be prorated based on the remaining classes whenever possible. New students will receive any important information needed to successfully join the current projects.

refunds & cancellations:

Class registrations reserve a student's seat and allow us to purchase materials in advance.

  • Tuition is due in full at registration unless a payment plan is offered.
  • Cancellations made at least 14 days before the first class will receive a full refund, less any non-refundable registration fees.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the session start are non-refundable.
  • No refunds or credits are given for missed classes, schedule conflicts, or early withdrawals.
  • If Honey Artistry must cancel a class due to instructor illness, emergency, or low enrollment, families will receive either a make-up class, studio credit, or a full refund for the canceled class.

class conduct:

Honey Artistry is a community built on kindness, creativity, and encouragement.

Students are expected to:
  • Treat instructors, classmates, and guests with kindness and respect.
  • Listen during demonstrations and follow studio instructions.
  • Use positive language and encourage one another.
  • Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Care for studio furniture, tools, and equipment.

Behavior that repeatedly disrupts the learning environment or creates an unsafe situation may result in dismissal from class without refund.

Respect for materials & studio space:

Our studio is filled with quality art materials that are shared by all students.

We ask every artist to:
  • Use supplies responsibly and only as instructed.
  • Help clean their workspace before leaving.
  • Return tools and materials to their proper locations.
  • Handle studio equipment with care.
  • Respect artwork created by fellow students.

Families may be responsible for the cost of replacing materials or equipment that are intentionally damaged.

health & wellness:

Students who have a fever, contagious illness, vomiting, or other symptoms that could spread to others should remain home until they are well.

personal belongings:

Please label water bottles, jackets, and personal items. Honey Artistry is not responsible for lost or forgotten belongings.

communication:

We believe communication creates the best experience for our families. If you ever have questions, concerns, or feedback, we encourage you to reach out. We're always happy to help and want every family to feel welcomed and supported.

Thank you for being part of the Honey Artistry community. We look forward to creating with you!
